Updates on the Mountains...

A few weeks ago I posted about all of the mountains that my family & friends have been dealing with. I have a couple of updates...

Rachel - has had another surgery this week , they took all the lymph nodes under her right arm, but is recovery well...she is already doing some beautiful digi scraping! Love the new pages Rach!
Amy - started her treatments on Monday. I talked with her hubby last night and she is having some pain for 3 hours after treatment and then just dull pain until the next day when she gets to go and start it all over again!

Karen- still dealing with some ear issues but praise Joshua is growing leaps and bounds!

Ami - had her precious baby on Friday. They are at home and not sleeping! (remember those days!)

Susan - they have successfully moved to Germany. They have a cute 4 bedroom! So if you are headed to over, give them a call!

Brenda ( my aunt, Susan's mom) is doing better. Her hair is starting to grow back and she is feeling alot better after chemo!

I don't have updates on the others...I also mentioned about a few I couldn't share...those are still out there and still in major need of prayer! But I have one HUGE praise! Andy's mother received a treatment last year for her health issues. It was called an IVIG. Well the first treatment worked but it was to be followed up with several more treatments, to be given 2 weeks apart. Well unfortunately insurance put a hold on the treatments (even though they worked) and was going to charge Jane & Dennis for this. We are talking mega-moola! So long story....Amy (Andy's sister) was able to get Jane approved to start the treatments again! And they will be covered! People this is an answer to our prayers! God is Good! Hopefully she can start before Sally ( Andy's sister) and Ron's wedding so she will have more energy and be able to enjoy this celebration!

Back to Life...back to reality...

Well we are trying to get back in the swing of things. Vacation has a way of taking the routine out of you! That is both good and bad. Bedtimes are later...mornings are later...but somehow in my house the laundry is bigger! I am glad to be back and enjoying time with the kids!

Many More Moores!

We are still having a great time at Lake Gaston. Andy's parents came up to join us for the weekend. The kids have had so much fun playing with cousin Anna & Aunt Amy too! We fed the fish at the marina & jet setted around the lake! After a nice homecooked dinner we had a little family Wii challenge and then off to get rest.

Where were you?

So I am sitting here catching up on some blogging while Andy & the kids have gone to bed. I just looked over at the clock and saw something that still sends chills up my spine. Not the fact that it is after midnight but that it is September 11th. I just went to You Tube...and watched the Alan Jackson song tribute...as tears fall I remember...alan jackson- Where were you september 11th

Take time today to pray for our country...and to remember

LKG...oh yeah it's for me!

Thanks to our wonderful friends the Centenos we have been able to C's the moment at Lake Gaston! I have always been a beach girl...but the Lake is growing on me! Hanna tried to put a damper on our trip but thankfully we were just delayed by a few hours! Our first weekend YaYa, Granddaddy, Aunt Debbie and Uncle Jay were able to join us. This week it has been just the 4 of us. Andy's parents are planning on joining us tomorrow for the weekend. I wanted to share some pictures...
