We went to visit Gran & PaPa and to celebrate Christmas with the Moore family. It was a wonderful time. We gave PaPa a DS and he and Caden were consumed with video game fun! They gave Alli a paint set that she and Gran painted. Anna was under the weather but she and Aunt Amy were able to join us the next day for lunch. Luckily, Aunt Sally & Uncle Ron were in town too!

Life is Sweet!

Even in a golfcart! YaYa asked us to come over and join in her neighborhood golfcart Christmas parade this Sunday. We had so much fun making the decorations and then decorating the cart! Of course we had to have a theme...Life is Sweet! After riding in the parade, singing Christmas carols, drinking hot chocolate, they met Santa and had a Christmas cupcake! Oh...and we won for Best Cart!

On the Well Side!
Alli had her 6 year well visit yesterday...happy to report all is well! I needed to blog about one funny moment. Upon arrival to the doctor we walked in and Alli made sure to sit on the well side of the waiting room. After meeting with the nurse and finding out Alli grew 3 inches since February, it was time to tell her she had to get 2 shots. Now let me tell you this girl shakes at the thought of shots. Alli was so upset and all she kept saying was " but tell them I sat on the well side...no shots...tell them I sat on the well side!" Needless to say she took her shots, with tickle puppy in hand, like a big girl. And after a cherry lollipop she was fine! Hopefully we'll stay on the well side!

Of course it needs a garage!
One of the Christmas traditions we have yet to tackle was building a Gingerbread house. I have always thought about making one or even buying the kits but for one reason or another...we never have. Until this year! I was out to lunch with my friend Amy last month and she offered to come and make Gingerbread Houses with the kids. Amy & her husband Andy hold a special place in my children's hearts...(mine too!) The kids had a blast decorating the houses...and as you can see Caden's even has a garage! Notice all the patterns on Alli's too! Thanks a bunch Amy this certainly a new tradition!

Have a Rockin Christmas
The kids and I bought Andy Rock Band 2 for his birthday in October. I know not everyone knows this but the Moore family really Rocks! Well we think so anyway! Alli loves to sing Eye of the Tiger and Caden is getting pretty good on bass and drums! Honestly, I think that is why we didn't do much in November...we were having to much fun with our friends playing RB2! We decided to keep with the theme when sending out our Christmas cards. Below is just too sweet not to share!
