Bridging to Brownies

We hosted troop #1585's bridging ceremony last night. The rain held off and the girls did a wonderful job! During the ceremony they told us about their favorite Daisy moments & what each petal represented that they had earned over the year. Then it was time to bridge to Brownies. Each girl received their 1 year pin and then crossed the bridge. One of the leaders read the Brownie story of the wise old owl in the forest glade. Our backyard was a perfect setting! After seeing their reflection one of their leaders tied a new kerchef around their neck to symbolize the move to Brownies! The girls sang the Brownie song & closed with a friendship circle. Andy set up the outdoor movie of Tinkerbelle & we all enjoyed popcorn & brownies!
