My cousin Susan and her daughter Maddie drove up to Raleigh to spend the day with us before they moved to Germany. We picked up some Bojangles and headed to Pullen Park. After lunch we took a ride on the train (note: Andy captured us in the tunnel!), rode the kiddie boats and took a spin on the Carousel. It was a fun day and once we got home I found a photo of me & Susan in the same boats when we were their age!
On Tuesday we cooked a yummy North Carolina / German dinner for a send off celebration! Barbeque, slaw, green beans, german potato salad and of course German Chocolate Cake! They got off safely, ready for the long plane ride with a 7 month old! Please continue to pray for Susan, Paul & Maddie as they have moved to Germany. Thank goodness for technology! Andy set up our families computers so we can all chat via webcam! In fact we used it this morning from the lake!
